Photobiomodulation (PBM), is FDA-approved for temporary relief of muscle and joint pain, but there is no indication for TMD. Our goal in this study is to conduct a clinical trial of multimodal PBM for TMD pain. The Potential of Oxytocin to Reduce Opioid Abuse Liability and Pain Among Older Adults

Some research suggests that administration of oxytocin with oxycodone may reduce its abuse liability and improve its ability to reduce pain.
